you have amazing books to share with kids of all ages and interests. However,
it also means that there is A LOT to learn. Here are some tips to help.

Basic Product Knowledge Recipe
Ingredients:
1 catalog
A ubam website
As many books as you can put
your hands on
Some training videos
A network of amazing and
knowledgeable consultants
Directions:
1. Get
to know your catalog. Read
your catalog cover to cover. This will not only familiarize you with the books
but also how to help customers find what they are looking for.
2. Explore
your e-commerce website (consultant id myubam.com). Look through the different categories on
the right hand side bar. Try searching
different subjects and titles in the search bar. Look at some of the reviews.
3. Read
the books in your kit (ideally with children). The books in your kit
have been carefully selected to represent the best-selling series in the
collection.
4. Find
ways to see more books. Attend local meetings, often times consultants will
bring books, go to local book fairs or booths that other consultants are
having. The best way to get to know the books is by experiencing them. When you
have free books to order, try to order books from series that you don’t have
and for all different ages.
5. Watch
Product Knowledge Videos. There are lots of videos out there. The ones in
this document are focused on getting you familiar with what makes the books
unique and on the most popular series.
6. Reach
Out. Join the Product
Knowledge Facebook group, search for previously asked questions on Facebook
pages and ask for support.
